Longqing Valley is beautiful, however I suggest going there in the summer or in February as nothing is really open in January and it is freezing. They do however have an ice sculpture area where you can watch people carve the sculptures.
At Longqing park you can see/ride the worlds longest outdoor escalator shaped like a dragon, ride a boat down the river, go up to the top of the mountains and see the temples, and see a geo park sight in a cave. The scenery is gorgeous and there is a water park preserve for the wild animals in the area.
Over all it is a great place to visit, but I suggest going in the summer.
